How To Select A Custom Colour?

When ordering, select the "custom colour" option then click "personalize". Please note any instructions about how you would like your colour used.

Is there a fee to change colours?

There is no fee to change to any of our standard colours, however selecting a premium colour (noted with a white star on the chart below) for background or other large-area coverage will cost 15¢ extra per wrapper. Complex colour change requests may require the purchase of additional design time.

WhimsyWraps Colour ChartTips for choosing custom colours:
  • Light & medium colours work best for backgrounds.
  • Text and fine elements will appear best if printed in medium/dark colours against a light background.
  • Designs with many graphic elements may not work well if your custom colour deviates too far from the tones used in the original design.
  • When making colour changes, it is best to allow time to receive and review a proof to ensure you have the chance to see your new selections in place before your wrappers are printed. Fast or rush process orders (where no print approval is required) may not be returned if you do not like how your colours look when printed.

Can I preview my custom colours?

If you select "normal" order processing, a free digital proof will be sent for you to review and approve before we print your order. About Digital Proofs

Our online colour chart (above) displays all of the available print colours that we currently offer. Most of our designs may be customized using any colour swatch shown. Certain designs we offer may use colours not displayed — if you wish to alter the colour of one design to another based on an example shown on our site, please reference the name of that design in your special instructions.

We are unable to print metallics or foil. If you wish to have a gold or silver look, please select your choice of gold-tone or silver-tone ink. There will not be a metallic finish on your printed wrappers.

Due to differences in how various monitors display colour, we cannot guarantee that any colours viewed on‑screen will match actual print colours. If colour is a primary concern, we recommend purchasing our sample kit which includes a printed colour chart so you can review in person how the actual colours appear on paper. If you have any questions about the colour options we offer, please contact us.
